In the Lotus Leaf of Xiangxiang, there has always been a saying that Zeng Guofan, a famous minister of Zhongxing in the late Qing Dynasty and commander-in-chief of Xiang Army, became famous for his ancestors and residential feng shui.
When Zeng Jingxi died, Zeng Guofan was only 5 years old and was buried in Yehe Town, Shenchong Taixi. The local people say that Zeng Jingxi's cemetery is a golden rooster. There is a river in front and a narrow mountain in the back, like a chicken neck. Then a rectangular hill, like a chicken's body; On both sides of the long mountain, there is a low fan-shaped mountain shaped like chicken wings. Zeng Jingxi's tomb is located in the "chicken head". Legend has it that Zeng Jingxi was buried in the second spring; It rained heavily for three days and flash floods broke out. Before the "chicken head", the crops and soil in the field were washed away by water, and the field was full of sand and gravel. A good feng shui teacher called Zeng Jingxi's treasure land "golden rooster pecks white rice", and the Zeng family would be separated and asked to protect this cemetery.
In fact, Zeng Jingxi's graveyard is the "land of four spirits" that ancient people in China like to choose for burial. Backed by lofty and beautiful mountains, there are open paddy fields and winding running water in front, surrounded by mountains on both sides and spacious and winding running water in the middle, which conforms to the characteristics of the ideal place of ancient geomantic omen, that is, the four spirits of "burying caves", "Xuanwu bows its head, Suzaku flies, Qinglong twists, and white tigers tame."
Although the legend of Zeng Jingxi's cemetery may be attached to the meeting, the Zeng family did appear, and Zeng Guofan and Zeng Guangjun came into being one after another. Juren, Youzhen and Xiucai have a history of as many as 20 people.
This is the Feng Shui story of Zeng Guofan and "Golden Rooster and Pecks White Rice" introduced by Yi Sou. Confucius: Stay away from ghosts and gods. Confucius respected him very much and dared not talk nonsense. Although technology is more and more developed now, it is better to believe in Feng Shui than not to believe in it.
