Agricultural history of papaya town

During the Northern Song Dynasty, Xixia and Liao Dynasty, papaya was the most important military town in Fugu. Papaya in history, east to Qingyangyan and Shanjiazhai in Haize Temple, south to Lijiahe, Gaoshiya and Xishanzhai, west to ancient cities and tents, and north to the side walls of Taipingdun, Xiziliang and Caijiabian. As an agricultural area, this land was once the richest area in Fugu. Historically, it has abundant water resources and a large number of wetlands. In the loess plateau, which has been dry for ten years and nine years, it can be regarded as occupying the best climate, place and people. Therefore, there is a saying that "papaya is blind to Dara", which can be compared with the banner of Inner Mongolia and is the waist of Fugu. The agricultural products such as millet, mung bean and yam in papaya town are all fine products, from papaya in the south to Liushuyan, Dongjiagou and Chai Jiayan in the east, which have enjoyed a high reputation for thousands of years and still occupy an absolute market price advantage. There have been many excellent farmers here in history, especially Han, and everyone knows Han Luo. However, the human factor is always the first. During the collectivization period, people here used bran alfalfa to satisfy their hunger. Take Castanopsis eyrei as an example. At the time of collectivization, according to the grain distributed to members, the total output was not as high as today's two. As for the number of points stolen by the village bully, it is impossible to evaluate, and it can only be counted as the loss of wild animals, which is difficult to count into the total output. Developed natural agricultural economy is the material basis of traditional religion. Papaya has a long history and has always been a Taoist holy place in Fugu. Therefore, there are many cultural relics here with high quality. Huang San Temple is located in Wuhua Mountain, 4 kilometers southwest of Papaya, where three emperors and five emperors are enshrined. It may be the only one in Fugu, but it was severely damaged during the Cultural Revolution. Almost every hill here has a temple. There are dozens of temples in the Han family alone in history, which shows the scale and development level of agricultural economy here in history.
