In the first stage of the World Championship, 24 teams were divided into 4 groups, with 6 teams in each group playing round robin. The top four in each group enter the next stage. Then the first four teams of the four teams are mixed into two teams with eight teams, and each team continues to play group round robin with the other four teams that have not played in the first stage, and the teams that have played in the first stage are brought into this stage (so in fact, the first stage looks relaxed, but you can't relax because the results are brought into the second stage).
