Looking at the Taoguang Temple in the Sea from the Light

Hangzhou is a famous cultural city with a long history. During the wuyue period, Indian Buddhism was introduced, and people here began to advocate Buddhism. They once built a temple in Daxing, Hangzhou. Known as the "Southeast Buddhist Country". On the nest dock on the south slope of the north peak of West Lake, there is a temple built by King wuyue. Daoguang Temple has always been famous for worshipping Buddha and watching the mountains and the sea. During the reign of Tang Muzong Changqing (82 1-824), Daoguang once lived here and had close contacts with Bai Juyi. The temple is named after people and the land is named after the temple, so it is called Taoguang Temple. Daoguang Temple was rebuilt by Yue in the third year of Tianfu in the Five Dynasties (938). Yangmei once wrote a poem "Daoguang Temple":

In the nest of Daoguang ancient temple, Dong Bin asked Huanglong for an alchemist;

When you get to heaven, you can make a name by name, but when you get to the nest, you will stop making tea.

Seeing the sea flooding into the sun, dissolute fairies are immortals;

After all difficulties, there will be fruit, and the golden lotus will be released again.

On the rock wall at the top of Daoguang Temple, there is a cave called Danyabao, which is said to be the place where Lv Dongbin made an alchemy. Lv Dongbin and Buddhism have a deep relationship. The eighth volume of "Five Lights" records that Lv Dongbin passed through Huanglong Mountain, which is worth beating gongs and drums for the ancestors of Huanglong. When the patriarch saw Lv Dongbin, he snapped, "There is a thief near the seat." . Lu resolutely came out and asked, "A grain of millet hides the world, and half a liter of pot cooks mountains and rivers. What does this mean? The ancestor said: This corpse keeper. The founder asked: how can you hide the world in a millet without asking about the mountains and rivers in a half-liter pot? Lu Yuyan suddenly realized. Zuo Shuo said: I gave up the ladle and smashed the piano, but now I don't love gold in water. Ever since I saw Huanglong, I realized that I was wrong before. So the founder told him to protect Buddhism.

In the 12th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1584), local people built Lv Chunyang Hall here as a sacrifice, and participated in politics in Guo. Your Highness Chunyang, there is also a shrine dedicated to Lv Dongbin's female disciple He Xiangu.

According to ancient documents, Daoguang Temple was built by Daoguang Zen Master in the right half of Lingyin Temple. Teacher, Shu people, when Emperor Taizong quit his teacher and went on a trip, the teacher told him, "You can stay in the weather and stop in the nest." The teacher visited the Wogou Wharf in Lingyin Mountain and was responsible for guarding the county seat of Bai Letian. He realized, "My teacher's life is over." Then Zhuo yanxi. On the right side of buddhist nun is the Lv Chunyang Hall, which was built in the 12th year of Wanli and is remembered by Guo who participated in politics. King Robin became a monk and disappeared into the temple. Song returned to Jiangnan, and I stayed here occasionally. The question was startled, stunned by its beauty, and then went on to the last one. When Chi Ming visited him, the old monk never saw him again. A learned man said, This is King Robin.

According to folklore, it is very effective to take the spring water from Jinlianchi in Taoguang Temple to treat diseases. Therefore, the incense in Taoguang Temple is very prosperous, and the sea pavilion is full of banners written by patients, "Be responsive and rejuvenate".
