Ten temples in Wuhan
1, Guiyuan Temple
Address: No.20 Guiyuansi Road, Hanyang District, Wuhan, Hubei [Bai]
Guiyuan Temple was built by Master Bai in the 15th year of Shunzhi in Qing Dynasty (AD 1658). It has more than 200 temples and more than 7,000 volumes of various Buddhist classics. Guiyuan Temple is known as "one of the top ten famous temples in China" because of its towering ancient trees.
2. Gude Temple
Address: No.74 Shangshan Landslide, Jiang 'an District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province.
Gude Temple was built in Guangxu of Qing Dynasty for three years, then rebuilt and expanded, and its name was inscribed by Li himself. The core building of Gude Temple is Tongyuan Hall, which adopts the structure of ancient Rome and is a unique Zen building.
3. Lianxi Temple
Address: No.0/25, Xiongchu Avenue, Wuchang District, Wuhan, Hubei Province
Lianxi Temple was built in the late Yuan Dynasty and early Ming Dynasty. It is one of the four Buddhist jungles in Wuhan and the only Buddhist "female jungle" nun in Wuhan, ranking third in the list of the top ten temples in Wuhan.
