Temple landscape of Jinding Temple
The Golden Temple cast in the Ming Dynasty was destroyed during the Cultural Revolution. Besides the Cold Wild Goose Pagoda, Jinding Temple also has a well-preserved gate. This gate was designed by Bai artists, which fully embodies the exquisite architectural technical level of Bai people. The top of the door is lined with straight ridges, with vertical ridges at both ends and upturned cornices, which is beautiful and generous. Entering the gate, the statue of Maitreya is enshrined in front of the Maitreya Hall, and the statue of Wei Tuo Bodhisattva is molded behind the hall. Siddhartha Gautama is enshrined in the Ursa Mahayana Hall behind the Leng Yan Pagoda. On both sides of the Buddha statue are the statues of Ananda, Dharma Patriarch and Six-armed Protector Wang. In front of the gate of Jinding Temple, the pedestal is about 8 meters high and the mesa is spacious and flat. Visitors can overlook the magnificent scenery of Jizu Mountain through the railing. If it happens, you can also see Tianzhu Buddha Light, one of the eight scenic spots of Jizu Mountain. At the turn of summer and autumn, the wind gathers and the rain scatters, and the white clouds are all over the mountainside, such as the silver sea shining, alternating between reality and reality. Occasionally, there will be a big round aperture in the white clouds, with six or seven colors outside and a mirror in the middle. The viewer is always in the mirror, also known as body light, which is a great spectacle of Tianzhu Peak.
