Must-see scenic spots in Kaiyuan travel strategy

1, Nandong Scenic Area

Nandong Scenic Area is located at the south of the city 10 km. There are more than 50 scenic spots, which are composed of eight caves of different sizes. Some are high on the mountainside, and some are bent at the foot of the cliff, which is uneven. The Tongling cave in the east cliff is the largest.

The underground river in the cave flows for several miles, gushing out in front of the cave, merging into the deep pool and flowing down the river, named Qingshui River (now called Nandongjiang River). In Taoyuan Cave, stalactites are well developed. A pool of blue waves outside the cave, surrounded by ancient trees, is an excellent place to rest.

2. Lujiang Park

Lujiang Park is located on the banks of Lujiang River in the urban area. Built in 1983, the lake was built around the embankment, and the water surface was15000m2. It is known as "a beautiful place in southern Yunnan and a pearl in southern Xinjiang".

Fishing gear for yachts is provided for tourists to row boats and fish. Around Land Rover Lake, palaces, pavilions, pavilions and waterside pavilions are dotted with fountains, flower beds, rockeries and stacked stones.

3. Dazhuang Mosque

Dazhuang Mosque is located at the southern end of Dazhuang Street, Dazhuang Township, Kaiyuan City, Yunnan Province. Dazhuang Mosque was founded in the Ming Dynasty and rebuilt in the 17th year of Jiaqing (18 12). The mosque covers an area of 9,450 square meters, with a building area of 4 1.79 square meters.

Mosque consists of main hall, hatchback, worship building, hall, library, water room, imam room, gate and other buildings. This is an Islamic Gedimu monastery. Dazhuang Mosque is a famous place of worship in southern Yunnan with a quiet environment and trees. 1998 was announced as a cultural relic protection unit in Yunnan province.

4. Lingzhi Lake Forest Park

Lingzhi Lake Forest Park is located 33 kilometers east of Kaiyuan City, with an area of more than 400 hectares and an altitude of 2 100 meters. The forest coverage rate is 67%, the water area is 100 mu, and the oxygen content in the air is 30% higher than that in the urban area. This is a natural park without any pollution.

5. Yunwo Temple

Wo Yun Temple was built in 1727, which is the first of the four ancient Ami landscapes. There are three wonders in the temple: Jing Qi, Shui Qi and Shu Qi. A towering red bean tree at the entrance of the temple is a rare tree species in China, which is nearly 300 years old. It was named "Wo Yun Red Bean" by Yunnan Forestry Department 1984.
