China men's basketball team will face Kazakhstan and its old rival Iran on February 23rd and 26th, 2023 respectively.

Serbian coach Jorjevich officially became the head coach of China men's basketball team at the end of 2023. Immediately after arrival, I went to Zhuji Division, Zhejiang Province to watch the CBA League, inspect the players in each league and select the training list of 18 people.

Team history

China National Men's Basketball Team was founded on 19 17, 1936 joined FIBA, 1958 withdrew for political reasons, and 1974 resumed its membership in the name of People's Republic of China (PRC).

China men's basketball team won 4 of 4 games, with a total score of 239 points and an average of 59.75 points per game. 239 points is also the biggest net winning point of China men's basketball team in previous Asian Championship group matches.

1979 In the 10th Asian Championship, when China played against the host Japanese team in the final, the referee was obviously partial to the other side. Eight people, including Mu, were sent off in China, leaving only four people to play. Teammate Li Yulin still kept the Japanese newspaper at that time. According to the newspaper, China's coaches Qian Chenghai and Ma Qingsheng even had to give up the field in protest. However, China finally defeated the Japanese team 70-68. China won again, and South Korea won the ticket to the Moscow Olympic Games.
