What is the structured group interview process?

Structured group interview combines the characteristics of structured interview and leaderless group discussion. To put it simply, it is an interview evaluation method that requires a group of examiners (usually 3-5 people) to answer structured interview questions (usually 3-5 questions) and comment on each other in order to test the basic ability and quality of candidates engaged in office work. In the actual interview, the main process of structured group interview includes two links: preparation for the exam and interview implementation.

Structured group interview process and links

1. On the day of the interview, draw lots first to make sure the exam order.

2. After the lottery, the instructor will take the candidates to the exam preparation classroom and provide problem books, draft papers, pens, clocks, etc. 15 minutes to think and write down the main points of the answer.

3. Enter the answer room and start answering questions.

4. Answer session

Under the guidance of the staff, queue up for admission and draw lots to determine the serial number of the candidates in this group. Take a group of three people and three questions as an example. Every candidate has a chance to answer questions for the first time.

5. Comment and respond to each other.

After answering three questions, we began to comment on each other. Each candidate needs to make his own evaluation of the answers of the other two candidates, and also needs to respond to the evaluation of the other two candidates. Comment on a person for no more than 2 minutes when commenting on others, and generally respond to a candidate's evaluation for no more than 2 minutes.
