Huang, a native of Guangzhou, was born in 1938. At present, he is the director and professor of the chess research center of Nankai University. He is also the secretary general of China University Chess Association, the vice chairman of Tianjin University Chess Association, the chairman of Tianjin University Chess Association, the member of Tianjin Care for the Next Generation Committee (Sports) and the consultant of Chess Research magazine. In addition, he also served as the deputy referee of Tianjin Chess Competition, the chief referee of Tianjin Junior Triathlon Chess Competition, the coach of Tianjin Chess Team, the coach of Tianjin University Chess Team and the coach of China University Chess Team. Mr. Huang is a famous chess master and chess theorist of the older generation in China. 1third place in the national individual chess tournament in 1977,1champion in the invitational chess tournament in 1997. His monographs such as Chess Manual, Chess Opening Theory, Chess Game Theory, Chess Talk, Chess Psychology (Chess Textbook), Firearms Talk, etc. have attracted the attention of chess circles at home and abroad and been welcomed by readers, and won the first prize of national excellent chess books for many times. He is also a pioneer in setting up college chess courses and developing computer chess in China. He pioneered the introduction of chess into the elegant halls of colleges and universities, and successively won the Hong Kong Olympic Gold Award, the World Computer Olympic Bronze Award and the National Chess Promotion Award of Chess Friends magazine.
