First, low-income families applying for urban low-rent housing security should submit a written application to the town people's government (street office) where their household registration is located.
Second, the government conducts a preliminary examination. The town people's government (street office) shall, within 30 days from the date of accepting the application, review whether the applicant's family income, family property and family housing meet the prescribed conditions, put forward preliminary examination opinions and post the family income and housing situation. After publicity without objection, the preliminary examination opinions and application materials will be submitted to the district and county housing security departments.
Third, review. The district and county housing security departments shall, within 0/5 days from the date of receiving the application materials, put forward audit opinions on whether the applicant's family housing situation meets the prescribed conditions, and forward the application materials of the qualified applicants to the civil affairs departments at the same level.
Application conditions for low-rent housing:
1. The applicant has a permanent residence in this city for more than 5 years. 2. The applicant must be a low-income family or the lowest-income family recognized by the local civil affairs department. 3. The per capita housing construction area of the applicant's family is below 15 square meters, and the total housing construction area of the family is below 50 square meters. 4. The family members of the applicant have a legal relationship of maintenance, support or support, and live together. 5. The applicant and his family members are confirmed by the local housing management department.
Legal basis: Article 17 of the Measures for the Protection of Low-rent Housing applies for the protection of low-rent housing, which shall be handled according to the following procedures:
(a) families applying for low-cost housing security shall submit a written application to the neighborhood office or the town people's government where the household registration is located; (II) Sub-district offices or town people's governments shall, within 30 days from the date of accepting the application, examine whether the applicant's family income and family housing meet the prescribed conditions, put forward preliminary examination opinions and post them, and submit the preliminary examination opinions and application materials to the municipal (district) and county people's government departments in charge of construction (housing security).
