Interview notes of museum volunteers

In June, I looked at the official account of WeChat, a local museum, and found that the museum was recruiting volunteers again. I am very excited, but I think that within two months, Dabao will have a summer vacation soon. And I am more than 20 kilograms heavier than before pregnancy, and my image is not as good as before. I don't even have a slightly formal suit.

Looking back last year, when I saw the notice of recruiting volunteers in the museum, the registration period had passed, which was a little regrettable. I have always liked history and cultural relics, and I like programs such as National Treasure Archives and Protecting National Treasure.

Moreover, I am a normal major and have a senior teacher qualification certificate. I didn't become a teacher in the end, and I was always worried. If you can apply for a volunteer commentator this time, it is different from the teacher, but it also has something in common.

I hesitated for several days whether to sign up or not.

Finally, with the encouragement of my husband, I submitted the application materials on the afternoon of the last day of the deadline and received the interview notice smoothly.

The interview is divided into three parts: self-introduction, simulated explanation and on-site questioning.

I memorized the simulated explanation, but I still can't recite it. I had no choice but to watch the interview time come to July 1.

Arriving at the museum in advance, I met a colleague from an adjacent unit who wrote materials for the district party secretary. I'm a little stressed. I will talk to the interviewer around me. Most of them are teachers, and some of them don't know whether they are radio or TV. The pressure doubles. Can I be selected from 100?

The necessary work still needs to be completed. I saw the interview room in advance, only to find that it was a little different from what I expected. The examination room is very small, and the distance between the interviewer and the examiner can be up to 2 meters. There is a small exhibition board at the back with some pictures of cultural relics on it. There are explanatory words under the picture, and I can't even read them. Please check your mobile phone quickly.

In the waiting area, we drew lots and I got the number 12. My colleague in the neighboring unit originally took the No.24, so she changed it to the No.5 in a hurry.

The interview starts at 8 o'clock and doesn't start until 8: 30. During this time, I chatted and relaxed with friends around me.

We went to the waiting area of 1 in groups of four, and soon arrived at No.8-12. The closer I get to the examination room, the more relaxed I am, not comforting myself: I'm not afraid, but I can't choose, so I'll just look at the world and practice my feelings.

It will be my turn soon. I closed my eyes, took a deep breath, relaxed for a while, and then knocked in. I was a little nervous at first, and my speech was not very coherent. It is much better to simulate the explanation later, because I have seen the exhibition board in advance, so I naturally point to the pictures on the exhibition board and explain it with the content memorized in advance. In fact, during the explanation, I can find that the examiner is quite satisfied.

In the questioning session, the examiner asked two questions, one about regional civilization and the other about ancient poetry. I know something about it, and I gave a simple answer, which was satisfactory.

When I got home, I felt uneasy, but I still had to keep calm. I continue to read Eva and WeChat official accounts every day. On July 6th, I finally saw my name on the approved list.

I feel relieved. Because I was admitted to the civil service on 20 10, it is strange that I didn't do well in the interview. No matter what kind of exam, I missed my favorite position in the interview several times. This interview at least proves that their skills are still there.

To sum up the interview, I have several small feelings.

First, do your homework in advance. No matter what kind of interview, you should do your homework yourself.

I rewrote this self-introduction according to the requirements of museum volunteers, and there was a simulated explanation. Although I can't recite backwards, I can recite backwards.

Some people may have a bad memory, so do I. Every time I encounter something that needs to be recited, I will record it on my mobile phone in advance, listen to it from time to time, deepen my impression, and check some minor problems such as sentence interruption and tone. This method is particularly useful.

Second, you must look at the examination room when you have the opportunity.

This was taught by many teachers when I was a student, especially during the interview. If you have the opportunity, you must go to the examination room in advance to observe. Civil servants and career editors are not allowed to look at the examination room, but if possible, they should go to an interview class or something to feel the atmosphere of the interview in advance.

Third, have a good attitude.

I am surprised that my colleague is not included in the volunteer list, because she often writes materials to the leaders and usually has many opportunities to exercise, so she has strong comprehensive strength. This time, she did not record it. I think on the one hand, her number is too high, on the other hand, she may be in a bad mental state and too anxious. She was in a hurry to attend another activity that day, and as a result, another activity ended in a hurry.

After passing this interview, I was happy for two days. Think about my life now. I didn't have so much courage a year ago, but I was more active because I participated in 007.

007 is red and the volunteers are blue (museum volunteers have blue vests). What color will my future life be? I'm really looking forward to it ...
