CUBA Chinese College Basketball League is the first basketball league in the history of China, which aims at cultivating high-quality basketball talents and combines key training with extensive selection. In CUBA League, both the men's basketball team of Yunnan Normal University and the men's basketball team of Yunnan University of Finance and Economics have achieved excellent results. The men's basketball team of Yunnan Normal University has reached the top eight in China for many times, and won the championship in Southwest Division in 2007, while the men's basketball team of Yunnan University of Finance and Economics has also made great achievements in previous competitions.
