Yasi Temple is located in Baixian County, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. It belongs to Ma Ning, that is, the red religion.
It is a large-scale learning place with the same name as Seda Wuming Buddhist College. Seda, many friends should have heard of it. )
At present, there are more than 20,000 monks and nuns living in Ya Temple, mainly Juemu (Juemu is a nun). The Changqu River is surrounded by an island, which is the largest hornwood area in the world. It is an influential temple in Tibetan areas.
I don't believe in Buddhism, but I always yearn for mysterious places.
Although I know the journey to the Asian Youth Games will be difficult, I am determined to go with my friends. At noon on the 4th 1 1, after two and a half days of turbulence, we finally reached the destination of this trip-Yaqing Temple.
Because aunt pea called a few weeks in advance to make an appointment, fortunately, we didn't wait long to check in.
The Yaqing Hotel where we stayed is next to Yaqing Temple. It is the only hotel in the temple and is run by outsiders. Yaqing Temple may be cut off from water and electricity at any time, but the conditions are still not good.
There is still no bathroom in our room, but fortunately there is a thermos bottle.
I quickly put my luggage aside and went out to take pictures. I bought a scallion cake at the door, 5 yuan each! It smells good.
After all, Yaqing Temple is not as famous as Seda, but there are many people coming.
Among them are tourists like us, as well as Buddhist believers and monks from other places.
At one or two in the afternoon, the sun is particularly strong.
We boarded the prayer wheel and prayed in front of the Buddha statue. We watched pilgrims from other places kowtow barefoot in front of the Buddha statue, passing by the Changqu River and passing through the small houses built of wood, and watched their faces being flushed by the sun on the plateau.
Feel the power of faith.
At four or five o'clock in the afternoon, our group returned to the hotel to rest.
After sleeping for half an hour, I felt altitude sickness. It's killing me
My head hurts, my heart beats fast, my nose is blocked, I can't breathe well, and I feel like I'm going to die. Every time I take a deep breath, I feel my heart beating to my throat.
At six or seven in the evening, my friends are going to watch the sunset. I really can't get up, so I have to lie down and rest.
Here, I would like to remind you that you must prepare altitude sickness drugs, such as rhodiola, Gao Yuanan and other anti-altitude sickness drugs, when you go to places above 3000 meters above sea level. It's just that I didn't make these preparations this time, which is particularly painful. Asia Temple is more than 4000 meters above sea level!
I lay alone in bed for a long time and saw the photos sent back by my friends. Master Lotus's body looks amazing in the bright moonlight.
Forced to put on a down jacket and go out, stood under the stars and made a wish to Master Hualien.
"I don't want to be great in my life. I just want to be loyal to myself, move forward calmly, and the people around me are healthy and safe. "
From rain and snow to sunshine, to rare moon and stars.
This day seems to have passed for generations.
Suffering from altitude sickness, I fell asleep and dreamed of returning to Chengdu, as if I had arrived in Beijing and saw some strange and familiar faces.
654381at 6 o'clock in the morning on October 5, friends got up to watch the sunrise, and altitude sickness worsened.
1 1 o'clock, we made an appointment with an SUV of a Tibetan uncle outside Yaqing Temple. We each handed in 500 yuan and went straight back to Chengdu.
The original plan was to take a bus back to Ganzi County on the same day, stay for one night, and take a bus back to Chengdu at 6 am on the 6th, which also saved a lot of time.
At 1: 30 in the morning, Uncle Zang crossed several snow-capped mountains, passed the National Highway 3 17 and Chengya Expressway, and 13 hours finally drove us back to Chengdu.
It took us three days to reach our destination, stayed for one day, and then came back in less than one day.
After writing this journey, I feel very tortured.
But after all, I went to that sacred and beautiful place that I have been longing for for for a long time. So, I'm glad you came.
In this life, people often have to walk many rugged mountain roads. Maybe they didn't reach a beautiful place in the end, but they experienced hardships they had never experienced before.
Yaqing Temple, the full name of Yawuqin Jinchanlin, is located in Changtai Township, Baixian County, Ganzi Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, and belongs to Maning Sect (Red Sect). Although the fame of Yaqing Temple is not as wide as that of Seda Wuming Buddhist College, it is actually a large-scale learning place with the same name as Seda Wuming Buddhist College.
Perhaps the most famous business cards of Asian temples are Juemu Island and Juemu. Yasi Temple is located in the middle of Zhangtai Prairie, built on the grassland wetland surrounded by mountains, with an open terrain and an altitude of about 4,000m. The buildings around the temple are huts where believers live (like Seda Wuming Buddhist College are all red huts). Practitioners have built more than 20 thousand small box houses by themselves. The criss-crossing long curved river surrounds the whole temple complex, forming an island, which is the largest hornwood island in the world.
At present, there are more than 20,000 monks and nuns (mainly Juemu) living around Ya Temple, which is divided into Zaba and Juemu areas by the river, and Zaba (male monk) area is outside the island. Juemu area covers an area of about 0. 15 square kilometers, surrounded by water on three sides, and has gathered more than 10,000 Juemu. The men who are allowed to live in Juemu District are only underage boys. They all follow their sisters or other female relatives to become monks here.
Men are not allowed to enter Juemu Island and can only visit the periphery. This island is intricate, like a maze, with many dead ends (actually it is not an alley, but a small passage for people to walk). People with a bad sense of direction can easily get lost and can't get out.
Most practitioners are young, have never been to school, and few people can speak Chinese. Young practitioners are incapable of managing their own lives. It is also a test of spiritual practice to give each temple around 300 yuan "Buddha money" every month (the rest is provided by relatives) and arrange life reasonably.
The practice rules of Yaqing Temple are very strict, one of which is "no entry after dark", so the most lively places every evening are several shops selling vegetables and fruits.
Like Seda Wuming Buddhist College, everything here has to be self-reliant. You have to carry water, carry or pull the gas tank, build or maintain the house, and hold a wooden stick when you close the door. However, the most "cruel" may be the 100-day retreat.
Closed 100 day: on the hillside near Juem island, there is a small hut transformed from a single wooden box and a small lattice on the mahogany roof. This is a closed meditation room (the small "box" in the lower right corner of the photo and the white grid on the red wooden house). Hundred-day Zen is the most important content of Juemu people's one-year practice in AYG. 165438+ 10 winter is coming, the outdoor open class of the temple is coming to an end, and the 100-day retreat is coming. Every year after winter, the Juemu people will enter a "matchbox" hut where only one person lives, and live in seclusion for 100 days, in exchange for the joy of practicing Buddhism day and night with extremely difficult living conditions.
Chueh-min locked himself in the practice room just to let himself think quietly. After dusk, Chueh-min can walk out of the practice room and end the day's retreat. After 100 days of seclusion, only less than 1% of the trees can prove the achievements of A Qiu Lama. Therefore, Juemu, who comes here to practice, has to live for at least three to five years and at most ten years. Jim was recognized as an honor, and then most of them went back to their hometown temples to become monks.
Internship here must be closed, and the coldest three months of the year are closed. Even in such a small house, you can only sit cross-legged, and you can't lie or stand. The cover is also very simple, many of them are made of several boards and wrapped in cloth. I can't imagine how Juemu people survived in the cold winter on the plateau!
The best photography spot on Jiumu Island is the mountain where the statue of Lotus Peanut is located, just behind Yaqing Hotel. It's close and not high, so there is no upward pressure.
The shape of Juemu Island is a kind of natural beauty, as painted in the mirror. Sunrise is probably the best picture, because the opposite of the shooting point is the east.
However, I missed it because it rained at night.
The street lamps on both sides of Juemu Island along the river are not turned on at night, leaving a little flaw in the night scene.
Imagine what it would be like if there were two arc lights on the water and dim lights in a dense mahogany room.
There are two major landscapes in Asian temples, namely, prayer flags and thousands of people turning to mountains. However, this is only available at certain times.
Asian temples can be said to be the "daughter country" of Buddhism. Known for Juemu Island, the focus of outsiders' attention is also Juemu. Compared with Juemu and Zaba of Seda Wuming Buddhist College, Juemu is equally divided. Here, Chueh-min obviously has the advantage!
Judging from the external phenomena we can observe every day, Seda Wuming Buddhist College is similar to Yaqing Temple (as for its connotation, it is beyond our understanding), and Yaqing Temple is more difficult. For example, 100 days of seclusion is almost cruel, but Seda is not. Geographically, Yaqing Temple is also relatively remote (from Ganzi County 102km, from Baixian County 120km), and there are mountain roads along the way.
This is the place where hermits practice. There are not many tourists at present. Perhaps, in a few years, it will become the next "Seda". I hope this pace is getting slower and slower.
