What is a structured interview for teacher qualification?

First, the meaning of structured interview

Structured interview, also known as standardized interview, is a standardized process of evaluating the subjects according to established evaluation indexes, using specific questions, evaluation methods and evaluation standards, strictly following specific procedures, and communicating with the subjects through language.

First of all, according to the analysis of the position, the structured interview determines the evaluation elements of the interview, prepares interview questions in advance in each evaluation dimension and formulates corresponding scoring standards. The interview process follows an objective evaluation procedure, quantitatively analyzes the performance of the interviewee, and gives objective evaluation criteria. Different evaluators use the same evaluation criteria to ensure the fairness and rationality of the judgment.

Second, the characteristics of structured interviews

The system structure of structured interview is mainly manifested in the following aspects:

(A) standardized test questions

1. Evaluation factors are generally extracted according to the requirements of the position to be hired, and teacher recruitment is generally 5-7 evaluation factors;

2. For the compilation of evaluation elements, each question generally corresponds to 1-2 test elements, and the scoring standard is given;

3. Candidates who intend to hold the same position should use the same set of questions;

4. There is a unified rating scale.

standardized test

1. Unified and strict examination organization and management;

2. Unified interview procedures;

3. Unified grading standards and scales;

The interview time of each candidate is roughly the same, usually the number of topics ×5 minutes.

Structured interview process:

Sign in → check your identity → draw lots → wait for the exam → enter the examination room → start the interview → exit.

(1) Report drawing lots

Generally, it is necessary to report to the designated place 10-30 minutes in advance, and the examination staff will check the candidates' identity documents and interview notices. After entering the waiting room, the staff of the examination area will read out the discipline of the examination room. After reading, candidates should hand in their communication tools. After that, candidates draw lots to determine the grouping and entry order.

(2) Hou Kao

Candidates who win the first place will be taken to the interview room by the staff for an interview, and other candidates will wait for the exam in the waiting room. The waiting room and the interview room are completely isolated, so the candidates waiting for the exam know nothing about the candidates interviewed in front.

Don't leave before the end of the exam. There is supervision from the examination room staff, and you need staff to accompany you when you go to the toilet. If the exam is arranged in the afternoon, lunch will also be sent to the waiting room by the staff. In order to prevent the candidates who have finished the exam from revealing the situation to the candidates who did not take the exam.

(3) Interview answers (random questions)

According to the sequence, when it is candidates' turn to enter the venue, the staff will inform the candidates who will be interviewed in advance to get ready. That is, when candidate 1 is interviewed, the staff in the waiting room will inform candidate # 2 to get ready. After the interview of the previous candidate, the candidate to be interviewed enters the interview room under the leadership of the staff.

In addition to the examiner, the interview room is generally supervised by scorers, timekeepers and invigilators. The judges are generally composed of seven people, one of whom is the main examiner. The examiner is responsible for reading the interview instructions, emphasizing matters needing attention, asking questions, etc. Candidates answer the given questions within the specified time.

After admission, candidates go directly to the candidates' booth, say hello to the examiner after standing, and need to report their own test serial number. It is particularly important to note that candidates cannot report their names themselves. If you give your name in the examination room, candidates will be disqualified from the interview on the spot. After the candidates are seated, the examiner reads the interview rules to the candidates and the interview begins.

There are generally two forms of topics: one is the form of the topic book, and the other is the reading topic. When answering questions, it may be that candidates read all the questions first, concentrate on thinking and answer them continuously, or that candidates answer one question every time the examiner asks.

There may be interview instructions before answering questions. Examples are as follows:

Interview guidance

(for examiner's use)

Hello, first of all, congratulations on your successful passing the written test. Welcome to today's interview. I invited you here in the hope of getting to know you directly through conversation. We will ask you some questions, some related to your past experience, and some need your opinion. I hope you can answer our questions seriously and realistically, and try to reflect your actual situation and real thoughts. In the later evaluation stage, we will verify what you said. We will keep your personal information confidential. The interview time is XX minutes. Before answering each question, you can think about it and don't be nervous. Ok, let's start now.

(4) Candidates exit

After the candidates have answered all the questions, the examiner will generally ask the candidates if they have anything else to add. Most of the time is up, and candidates usually don't answer at this time. The examiner announced that the candidate had left and waited for the score in the waiting room.

Usually, when candidates leave, they should politely say thank you and goodbye to the examiner, but most people ignore an important detail, that is, to keep the distance between desks and chairs in the state when they first came in, and then say goodbye to the examiner.

(5) Scoring review

After the interview, the judges scored according to the scoring method. The scoring method is generally to get an average score by removing a highest score and a lowest score, and this average score is the final score of the candidate.

(6) announce the results

Examiners will give their own grading sheets to raters to calculate their scores. After the accounting is completed, submit it to the supervisor for review. After the rater checks the score, the invigilator signs it and gives it to the staff to announce it to the candidates in the waiting room. Some of them are posted in the waiting room or posted on the website.

Candidates are required to leave the waiting room as soon as possible after getting the scores, and are not allowed to stay or walk around at will. Candidates go home and wait, and the website will publish the shortlist and medical examination list. Some announced the shortlist and physical examination list on the spot in the waiting room.

Fourth, the plan organization module

Example: How are you going to organize the class spring outing?
