1, short circuit
Where the circuit is short-circuited, the current is too large, causing tripping;
Step 2: Too much
The load is too large, and the current greatly exceeds the rated current of the switch, resulting in tripping;
3. Leakage
Electrical appliances have leakage, if the main switch is a switch with leakage protection, it will trip;
4. The switch is broken
If the above reasons are excluded, it may be that the main switch has quality problems or has broken down.
Solution:
1. overload can reduce the power load or stagger the power consumption time of high-power equipment.
2. Leakage is not easy to check. When there is no special equipment, you can only try one by one, depending on which equipment you use, and the line will trip when it ages.
3, short circuit will trip immediately, this problem is easy to find.
The safe operation of traction power supply system of electric locomotive should be ensured. In the event of an accident, the relay protection devices installed in the traction substation (switching station, zone booth) will be started by the short-circuit current generated by the accident, and the circuit breaker supplying power to the accident point will be automatically disconnected, so as to narrow the scope of the accident and ensure the safe operation of other equipment and normal power supply to non-accident lines. This action of automatically disconnecting the circuit breaker due to an accident is customarily called "tripping".
