In view of the current situation of junior high school, the relevant state departments have recently promulgated relevant policies and regulations on primary school enrollment, transfer and further studies as follows:
1. Legal basis: People's Republic of China (PRC) Compulsory Education Law and People's Republic of China (PRC) Law on the Protection of Minors.
2. Policy basis: Notice of the County Education Bureau on further strengthening the management of student status in ordinary primary and secondary schools.
3. Admission: All children who have reached the age of 6 (which can be postponed to the age of 7 in towns and villages) must enter the first grade of primary school in autumn to receive compulsory education. School-age children and their parents should register in a primary school near their home before the start of the new semester, and the primary school will send an admission notice to the applicants after confirming that they meet the conditions for studying.
Urban primary schools: We must strictly follow the enrollment scope and objects delineated by the county education bureau. First, we must ensure that school-age children within the enrollment scope are unconditionally enrolled; When enrolling students, the school must check the household registration book and other relevant documents, and verify the age and household registration; Individual freshmen who need to study across the enrollment service area for special reasons shall be recorded by the receiving school and reported to the Basic Education Unit of the County Education Bureau for review.
Transfer: Students are not allowed to transfer at will after entering school.
