The lower edge of the forest belt is mostly mixed with birch, and the main undergrowth plants are Pinus tabulaeformis, Rhododendron and Spiraea. The elevation of Betula platyphylla forest belt is generally between 1900-2400 m, and the main tree species are Betula platyphylla, Betula luminifera, Populus tomentosa, Pinus armandii and so on. Shaanxi Province has the national second-class key protected plants Abies Qinling, Picea, Hemlock and Rhododendron Qinling. The main tree species are Dendrocalamus latiflorus, Rhododendron and Spiraea. The elevation of pine-oak forest belt is between 1500- 1900 m, and the main tree species are Quercus, Pinus armandii, Pinus tabulaeformis, Populus davidiana, Betula platyphylla, Acer truncatum and Ulmus pumila. There are national first-class protected plants Taxus chinensis, and national second-class protected plants are spruce, Fraxinus mandshurica and Liriodendron chinense. The main undergrowth plants are Pinus tabulaeformis, Lespedeza, Rhododendron, Elaeagnus Elaeagnus, Rosa davurica, Flos Lonicerae and Viburnum.
