What is nasal polyps?

Nasal polyp: a disease characterized by prolonged nasal congestion, smooth, translucent, soft and painless vegetation at the mouth of the nose, which hinders breathing.

clinical picture

1, persistent nasal congestion, nasal congestion is poor capillary circulation, leading to telangiectasia. The use of vasoconstrictor nasal drops has no obvious effect. Patients with nasal congestion can also cause loss of sense of smell, nasal obstruction, sleep snoring, mouth breathing, and long-term chronic pharyngitis. 2. There seems to be a runny nose in the nasal cavity of early patients, mostly serous, and purulent secretions may appear if complicated with infection. Patients rarely sneeze, but they sneeze if there is allergic inflammation in the nasal mucosa. 3. If the condition is not found in time, nasal polyps will continue to grow, obviously aggravating nasal congestion, which can cause headache or dizziness, decreased sense of smell, and even loss. If the polyp blocks the posterior nostril or even protrudes to the nasopharynx, it will lead to hearing loss and the back of the nose will become wider, forming a "frog nose"
