& gt every cloud has a silver lining's historical allusions.
During the Warring States period, an old man lived in the border area adjacent to others. His family raises horses for a living, and passers-by respectfully call him "Sai Weng". Sai Weng is philosophical by nature and treats people differently.
One day, one of Saiweng's horses got lost and could not come back for some reason. When the neighbors heard the news, they rushed to comfort him. Sai Weng didn't care, but comforted everyone: "You have a heart. Losing a horse is not a big loss, but who knows if it will bring good results? " Neighbors are confused. A few days later, Saiweng's lost old horse ran back from the Great Wall and brought back a good horse rode by the Hu people. When the neighbors heard about it, they all came to congratulate Sai Weng and praised him for his foresight. At this point, Sai Weng looked sad. He said to everyone with great anxiety, "Alas, I got a horse for nothing. Who knows if it will bring me any disaster? " Sai Weng's words have puzzled everyone again.
Seeing the good horse that Hu Ren rode, Sai Weng's only son couldn't help going for a ride every day. One day, he accidentally fell off a galloping horse. Although his life was saved, he broke his leg. Good neighbors came to offer their condolences after hearing the news. Sai Weng is still an old saying: "Who knows if it will bring good results?"
Another year passed, and the Hu people invaded the Central Plains on a large scale. All able-bodied young people were recruited as soldiers, and nine times out of ten they died on the battlefield. Because Sai Weng's only son was a cripple and was exempted from military service, he was able to save his life.
