Sun Tzu's Art of War, also known as Sun Wu's Art of War, Sun Wu's Art of War, etc. It is the earliest existing art of war in China and the earliest military work in the world, and it is known as the "sacred book of military science". The full text is about 6000 words, with a total of 13 articles. The author is Sun Wu, a general of the State of Wu whose ancestral home is Le 'an, Qi in the Spring and Autumn Period.
2. Sun Bin's Art of War
Sun Bin's The Art of War, also known as Qi Sunzi, was created after the Battle of Guiling and the Battle of Maling in order to distinguish it from Sun Tzu's Art of War. After the Battle of Maling at that time, Tian Ji was framed by Zou Ji and forced to go into exile in Chu. Sun Bin resigned and retired, devoted himself to the study of military theory, and finally wrote Sun Bin's Art of War, which was handed down to later generations.
It is one of the most famous military works in the Central Plains in ancient China, and it is also another masterpiece of the "Sun Tzu School" after Sun Tzu's Art of War, with a total of 39 articles and 4 volumes. It was lost before the Sui Dynasty, and its remains were rediscovered in the Western Han Tomb in Linyi County, Shandong Province in 1972.
3. Woods
Woods is an important strategist's work co-edited by Wu Qi, Wei Wenhou and Wei Wuhou, and it is one of the representative works reflecting the military thoughts in the pre-Qin period of China. This paper mainly discusses the concept of war, with a total of 48 articles, including "Painting the Country" and "Expecting the Enemy", all of which were written by later generations.
4. Six towers
Also known as Six Pagodas of Tai Gong, it is said that it was written by Jiang Ziya, but it was later verified as a work during the Warring States Period, with a total of six volumes. It is an important part of China's classical military cultural heritage, which is rich in content, profound in thought and rigorous in logic, and embodies the essence of China's ancient military thought.
5. Liao Wei
The author still has doubts, but the legend was written by Liao Wei in the Warring States Period, with a total of 3l articles, and now there are 5 volumes, with a total of 24 articles. In ancient times, it was listed as a masterpiece of military science and was highly praised by military strategists in previous dynasties. Together with The Art of War, Woods and Sima Fa, it was called The Five Classics and Seven Books in the Song Dynasty.
