How to analyze your dreams?

Seven steps to learn to analyze dreams by yourself.

1. Brew your ideas. Before going to bed, subconsciously think about something or someone you want to dream about. Ask questions that have been bothering you, and then see how dreams can answer them for you. According to these methods, you can explain your dreams.

2. Follow your dreams. Next to your bed, put a notebook and pen, or a tape recorder or notebook computer, so that when you wake up, you can record your dreams immediately.

3. Sleep until you wake up naturally. Don't let the alarm clock or dog barking disturb your sleep cycle. If your schedule prevents you from waking up naturally during the working week, you can choose to sleep on weekends or holidays.

4. Postpone getting up. When you wake up, lie still and don't open your eyes. Because your dreams may be related to your body posture when you sleep. Try to recall your dreams, give them a name and write them in your mind. For example, "Late for the exam" or "My date with Ashley Judd". Immediately after getting up, write down any pictures, feelings and impressions you can recall.

5. Connect the fragments of dreams. In order to better explain your dreams, try to relate your recalled dreams to recent events. Can you recognize those people now or in the past? Can you explore any theme from your dreams? Looking for clues that can connect several dreams can help you explain a dream.

6. Turn Gan Kun around. If you can't sleep because you have been having nightmares, try to change the ending of your dreams. Once you wake up from a nightmare, try to imagine a good change in action, so as to reverse Gan Kun and make the dream ending positive. If you are trapped in a dream, try to imagine. In your dream, you can do anything you want!

7. Be patient. It may take you days or weeks to recall the details of your dream, but experts encourage you to try more. The memory of dreams is very vague, and it is difficult to recall all the ups and downs and dreams that run through several nights.
