The Story of Pipa is about a scholar Cai Bojie who went to Beijing to catch the exam and never came back. His wife, Zhao Wuniang, eats chaff and swallows vegetables at home to serve her in-laws. When her parents died, she cut her hair and buried her relatives. Finally, with the support of her neighbors, she described the body of her in-laws and went to Beijing to find her husband with her pipa. After many twists and turns, she was finally reunited with the husband of the wife who was forced to adopt her husband.
Zhao Wuniang took the pipa to Beijing to find her husband, not Qin Xianglian. The first half of the story is somewhat similar, but the ending is completely different. Storytelling: Henan Opera Pipa (also known as Pipa)
I had no money to bury my parents, but I had to cut two locks of hair on my head and get two seats wrapped in skirts. I buried a handful of earth as incense for the hut. My father-in-law's mound is in the thatched cottage. Everyone said that my husband won the first prize, and I took my children to the capital of song dynasty to play and beg along the way. Who would have thought that he would forget all his friendship and wealth, go to Muchi Palace and kick me to the door, full of grievances? Master Xiang and I, you and I have the final say.
