The allusion from "Yangzuo" has a touching story. During the Warring States Period, Zuo Botao and Yang Jiaoai met each other, and they went to Chu State together to seek an audience with King Chuzhuang. They encountered heavy snow on the way, and the clothes they wore at that time were very thin, and the food they brought was not enough. In order to satisfy his friends, Zuo Botao gave all his clothes and food to Yang Jiao'ai, and hid himself in an empty tree to commit suicide. Later generations called close friends with profound friendship "Yangzuo". The famous Peking Opera performing artist Ma Lianliang also compiled a new play based on this story, "Yangjiao Ai", also known as "Sacrifice Your Life and Give All".
