Ten Classics of the Old Monk Mengshen

The old monk in Shen Meng (1915.7.13-2017.1.27) lived for 87 years. He personally passed on Xu Yun, Ci Zhou, Xu Xuan, Hong Yi and other modern eminent monks, who were both reclusive and cultivated, and taught the law, especially the Three Classics of Huayan and Dizang. The elder devoted his life to restoring Sangha education, building temples to protect monks and spreading Buddhism all over the world.

No matter what we repair, what we need to repair is the "heart". Our hearts are always moving, so it is very important to take good care of our hearts.

Take advantage of his heart.

In Hua Hangpin, the wise first bodhisattva asked Manjusri Bodhisattva, "How can we trouble all sentient beings and prove Ayatollah's three virtues and three bodhis?" 」

Manjusri Bodhisattva replied: "Make good use of its heart"-use your own heart.

For this reason, Manjusri Bodhisattva said "pure deeds" for the first bodhisattva of wisdom, and made a wish when he saw a realm. The first bodhisattva of wisdom saw one hundred and forty realms and made one hundred and forty wishes.

Learning Buddhism is not divorced from daily life, there are other good ways. The method mentioned by the Buddha is the method of consciousness, and this method is to eat and dress by yourself, and even to seek enlightenment at work and see how to work hard. If you can use it, you can get a clean heart.

Sadness and happiness are self-inflicted.

People often complain to me: this world is really unfair! Wealth is rich and poor, life span is long and short, family members are harmonious and unharmonious, and everything in this world is unequal!

He asked me, "Is this equal? 」

I replied: "From my point of view, they are all equal!" Isn't it? What is rich in this life is charity in the last life; The poverty in my life is that I didn't know how to give and repair blessings in my last life.

If you are wise and can see what your previous generations have done, you will understand that all this is fair; Understand that all the pains, joys, worries and joys in your heart are caused by yourself!

Now in the face of suffering, it is impossible to put your heart together all day and want to get rid of it.

If you really want to get rid of it, you must resign. You realize that this is what you should bear, and you are afraid that you will not accept it if you know it! This will naturally cause pain! Therefore, the pain and joy of the body and the sadness and joy of the heart are all caused by themselves.

Help others with your heart, measure your own strength first.

Some people want to benefit all sentient beings and help others get rid of their pain, but if they are not strong enough, they will naturally have troubles.

At this time, I have to find a way to think about how to change from evil to good and how to help others solve their immediate pain.

Think about it. Have you ever encountered a similar problem? For example, I want to help others, but I can't, or I don't have that much wisdom. Maybe he won't be busy if you don't help. The more you help him, the more busy you are!

In this way, instead of helping others solve their troubles, you have added troubles to each other! But you want to harm people out of kindness, not malice!

The Buddhist scriptures say, "With wisdom, convenience is liberation; Without wisdom and convenience, you will not only be bound by yourself, but also by others! 」

This is precisely "wisdom is easy to understand and wisdom is easy to bind". Whether you have wisdom or not is your own thinking. Please read more Diamond Sutra or Heart Sutra!

Don't be persistent, do your best with fate.

What kind of thinking is pure goodness?

I can't hold on. Perseverance between people means attachment to each other, to me, to people, to all beings and to people with long life. If you do things with this persistent heart, not only you will worry, but others will also worry.

If you don't stick to it, everything will come naturally. When you help others, don't persuade them to decide what to do. And don't persuade people to decide not to be so good. Don't forget everything, do your best with fate.

Our karma has not completely disappeared, and our concentration is not enough. Our imagination and wisdom are naturally deficient, so our troubles cannot be eliminated.

Sincerely create miracles

Some people doubt that reading Mahayana classics is useless? In fact, no matter which classics you read, your merits are boundless, especially the Tibetan scriptures. When you encounter any difficulties, you should ask the Tibetan Bodhisattva or read the popular books to ask the Guanyin Bodhisattva.

Demand exceeds demand. If you don't solve the problem, you will doubt what the Buddha said. There is a problem here, that is, you have not asked yourself!

I think it's actually your own effort to meditate after reading the Bible or ask for the blessing of Buddha and Bodhisattva, because your heart corresponds to that of Guanyin Bodhisattva, and Guanyin Bodhisattva will bless you, but your heart does not correspond to that of Guanyin Bodhisattva, even if Guanyin Bodhisattva blesses you, you won't get it.

When you go to a Buddhist temple with an insatiable heart, if you want to get a definite result, you must get rid of insatiable greed first, otherwise you won't complain if you don't correspond to Buddha and Bodhisattva.

It is because you are insincere and don't believe it. Faithful and sincere, without the blessing of Buddha and Bodhisattva, you will be blessed.

If yes, if yes, if yes.

We should believe in cause and effect. What we are suffering now is karma. What's to complain about?

Without starting to rob, the six relatives and their families often rotate constantly, and the reasons for this are not clear!

Good begets evil, and this is how the karma between good and evil comes; The blessing of Buddha and Bodhisattva depends on whether you are sincere or not.

As for how to ask? Seek the elimination of karma with sincerity, and the karma will disappear, and the blessings will naturally appear.

Knowing that what I am suffering now is what I did in my previous life, I want to solve the problem now and never do it again. If you don't do it, you will no longer suffer; Before, I have paid it back in my life, and I will not pay it back.

For example, when we recite the Tripitaka or the Diamond Sutra, we won't fall into the "three evils" again, because we don't think about all the conscious hearts and activities. Without thinking and health, how can you fall into three coats again?

Practice is to take care of your heart! See how many good thoughts you have in a day and how many thoughts you have to benefit others. How many evil thoughts have you had, and how many harmful thoughts have you had? If our bodies are clean and our hearts are clean, then it is clean to enter the Buddhist temple to worship Buddha.

See through and let go freely.

Old Master Q Xu Xian often said these six words: "See through, let go, be at ease". It is not the eyes that see through, but the heart that can see through!

No matter what happens, the mind is not persistent, that is to say, in the process of receiving, thinking and thinking about good and evil, the mind is regarded as a bubble of a dream.

What is a bubble that will never change? Since it's a bubble, it's not worth faking! The problem is that our hearts don't think so. We often think back and think about the past.

Not only the events of this life have been brought to the present, but even things born in the past have been brought to the present. If you know the dreamer, you will know that dreams often pull our hearts far away.

Now chanting, my heart is clean, and those shadows in the past have appeared. You said it was a dream.-it was a dream. It can be said that everyone is dreaming now.

Impermanence is fast, bodhi is far away.

Life is short, very short. The question is, how many people think their lives are short?

Sometimes I ask my friends, "Have you ever thought that you will die tomorrow? The other party smiled and said, "I haven't thought about this question! 」

It is precisely because everyone refused to think seriously that we put our plans far away when we did things, and we didn't sign a contract with Yan Luowang. When do we leave?

When I was in Taiwan Province Province, I once met a Taoist friend. He talked to me about many plans after 50 years, but I didn't expect to have an accident when I walked out the door. With this experience, he said that everything is impermanent!

Be diligent in repentance and eliminate karma.

Repentance, the sinfulness is empty, and when the heart dies, the sin will die, and the sin of heart death will destroy both. This is called true repentance.

At present, we can't reach the realm of "the crime of heart death destroys both", but we can stop nausea with kindness, repent past sins with kindness and improve our kindness.

Nausea disappears, kindness disappears, and both good and evil are dead. This is called true repentance. Meditation in this way often should be helpful to one's own practice.

Deep thinking is the three treasures.

How many people can really abide by the three conversions and five precepts?

After three conversions, Master told us: After converting to Buddha, Buddha and Buddha, don't forget to recite the names of Buddha, Buddha, Buddha and Bodhisattva before going to bed every night. No matter which Buddha name is pronounced, it represents the three treasures.

Besides, after three conversions and five precepts, do you sleep with three treasures in your arms every night? When you open your eyes every day, is your first thought immediately to convert to Buddhism, Buddhism and monks?

The problem is that there are no two such people in ten! This shows that our hearts are ugly! If you can do this all your life and every day, you will have a pure land all your life!
