Meditation is a special translation method in Buddhist translation. Zen is the abbreviation of Indian Sanskrit Zen, which means "meditation", "ideological practice" and "merit jungle", so "meditation" is both Chinese and Sanskrit, which is explained by its name.
If, in its sense, a man of practice can concentrate on a situation with a scattered heart, it is called "determination"; Mindfulness is a kind of Buddhism, which can produce all kinds of samadhi, that is, "ideological practice"; According to meditation, all kinds of merits can be born, that is, the so-called "jungle of merits." To sum up, meditation is a method for bodhisattva practitioners to adjust their mentality, with the aim of purifying their minds and exercising their wisdom, so as to enter the truth realm of various dharma circles. From this point of view, meditation is a necessary means of practicing bodhisattva; Zen can't be touched, and stagnant water can't hide dragons. It is precisely to correct the mistake of taking means as an end.
Because meditation is not necessarily Zen, all religions with mysterious effects in the world come from meditation. Whether using spells, prayers, worship or chanting, most of them end up meditating.
Meditation, also known as Samadhi, is called "Samadhi, the king of Samadhi." "Zen" and "determination" are "stopping" and "observing", that is, letting go and seeing through. Meditation refers to "one mind and one environment", calm and confused thoughts, meditation from the outside to the inside, and focusing on one environment. Meditation must begin with "getting into silence", and only when "getting into silence" can "getting into silence" be achieved. At this time, it is already a state of selflessness, and it has entered the void dharma from "empty body" and "empty heart". However, in order to enter the realm of meditation, meditation must also have a "transcendental spirit" in order to break through all physical, psychological and subconscious obstacles. The meaning of Zen is to produce supreme wisdom in meditation, to prove with supreme wisdom and to prove the truth of everything. This is called Zen.
"Six Ancestors Tanjing Yan Chan Pin": "Zen people have no living or dyeing outside, use Zen flexibly, and their hearts are clear and settled. The so-called external meditation is the same as meditation. Externally, in the face of five desires and six dusts, whether you can be indifferent to life and death in the world is Zen; Internally, there is no greed in the heart, which is fixed. If you learn meditation, it will be like a dark room! "
"Heart Sutra": "After a long journey in the depths of Prajna Paramita, I saw that the five aggregates were empty and bitter." The so-called "deep walk" means meditation and deep determination. In meditation, Bodhisattva Guanzi found that when the five connotations are empty-that is, "no self", all troubles and pains will be relieved. It was in meditation that Bodhisattva Guanzi gained this pure wisdom and proved his great achievements.
Generally speaking, meditation may not achieve enlightenment and liberation, but it is inseparable from meditation. In the three stages of abstinence, determination and wisdom, determination is a bridge from abstinence to wisdom.
For those who take root in Nina Li Chi, there is no form of meditation. As the saying goes: "Doing is Zen, sitting is Zen, and words move silently." "Crossroads are conducive to meditation." "Tathagata often looks at it in the middle of twenty-six o'clock." As long as you think of photos, you can now "think of pure Buddha, think of pure Buddha." If you are not afraid of waking up, you are afraid of feeling late. I always stick to my post, don't practice, don't do anything, practice all good without doing good, and break all evil without being bound by all evil. Now this mindfulness belongs to the middle way.
The most dangerous of all spiritual exercises is to practice meditation; Habit is easy to encounter obstacles. If you can overcome obstacles, you will achieve the greatest success. It is because of the great achievements that more capital needs to be invested. First of all, you must have enough "prerequisites" to practice meditation before you can start practicing. Don't practice blindly for unknown reasons, it is easy to have problems. What are the conditions for practicing meditation?
first
Get rid of karma
People with heavy karma often practice meditation, and when they are taken away or entangled by demons, they break the practice of Buddhism. Sometimes you don't say it when you practice the law. Worst of all, it is often used by demons while others are practicing Buddhism. If so, self-destruction will ruin his practice, and his practice will be in a mess. Looking around, in today's world, many things have ruined him in practice. Therefore, people with heavy karma must first learn to repent their karma, and then learn to win the law after the karma is lighter.
second
People who practice meditation must observe the precepts.
The scripture says: Buddhists must "hold the Buddha and forbid the precepts" in order to practice Buddhism, such as Jue Yuan Sutra, Shurangama Sutra and Shurangama Sutra. Without Buddhist precepts, the body and mind cannot be clean; If the body and mind are not clean, it is easy to be disturbed by demons. Because of the magic dyeing method, if the walker does not hold the cleansing ring, it corresponds to the magic dyeing method; The corresponding dyeing method is to be within the magic, and the magic is convenient. Many pagans and ordinary people also follow Buddhist precepts. If you practice Buddhist precepts, you can't call it practicing Buddhist precepts, but practicing ordinary precepts or ordinary precepts. Therefore, people who practice Buddhism must also observe precepts.
third
People who believe in Buddhism must first understand the teachings of Buddhism.
Practicing meditation without understanding Buddhism is bound to make many mistakes. Especially the methods of meditation, meditation and wisdom, we must be familiar with them. If you don't know or understand the method of meditation, don't practice meditation rashly. Of course, if you only sit quietly once or twice a week and sit on a single plate for 20 to 30 minutes at a time, it is not a problem. If you meditate frequently every day, you will sit for more than half an hour ~ ~ one hour at a time. In this case, playing with tickets is no longer accidental. If you want to finish the preparatory work one by one as mentioned above, you must have good knowledge to guide you nearby. If there is no one to guide you and you have a little knowledge, you will sit cross-legged, just thinking that meditation is mysterious, interesting and curious. Never "play"; It should be noted that habit is not a joke. It is better to stop this half-playing method and stop playing; Only by practicing "serving the law" can we respect "the law", and nothing will happen.
kind
There are many types of meditation, which can be summarized into four categories in the XI samadhi of yoga, namely meditation, liberation, equal persistence and equal arrival.
Calm consideration
Meditation is the Chinese translation of the Sanskrit word "Zen", which means to think silently and seriously in a certain environment. There are four kinds of meditation, usually called four Zen.
(A) the first meditation, happiness comes from life. That is to say, from the evil in the world of desire, I am not good at dharma (physical evil and verbal evil), I have sought and waited, and I have never seen any trouble in seeking and waiting. In treating the evil in the world of desire, I have sought and waited for goodness. Happy people get the state of meditation expected by the color world, are happy in their hearts, don't see mistakes in happiness, stay away from all the heaviness (physical and mental discomfort), have a broad and light peace, have a smooth body and mind, and have the ability. There are five branches of this early Zen: seeking, waiting (getting what you want), being happy (getting what you want), being happy (getting rid of the heavy burden) and being calm (the difference between one thought and another is what Zen depends on). )。 In the eleventh volume of Yoga, it is said that it depends on the five broken methods and the five supplemented methods. People who have broken the five laws: (1) Be happy, be wonderful, or see or hear, or have won, remember to be happy. (2) What you want leads to worry, that is, if you don't want it, you will lose it and worry more. (3) Anxiety caused by incompetence means that people are killed in a sad mood, which even leads to Jaken. (4) Illness leads to happiness, that is, killing karma with joy or giving birth to Jaken. (5) Unkindness leads to abandonment, such as letting subordinates create and stifle industries, or letting themselves go, thinking that doing evil is convenient, or letting evil continue; Not good at present, go with the flow. People who practice the Five Dharmas: (1) Huan, because of purity and discipline, have no regrets and a happy mood. (2) The happiness promoted by the rectification movement brings joy to the heart. (3) A sense of security means heaviness and adjustment of body and mind. (4) Happiness, because it is too heavy to leave the body and mind, is relieved by worrying about all desires. (5) Decide, that is, stand on the right side, observe carefully and be single-minded.
(2) The second meditation will lead to happiness. There are four branches: inner class purity (in order to get what you want), happiness, joy and determination. In other words, the early Zen can give up when seeking samadhi and settle down when not seeking samadhi. You can stay away from the ever-changing boundary and settle your heart in a relatively stable boundary. Your heart is silent, even extremely quiet. This kind of thinking is right, to stay away from chaos is to work in the inner class. Those who decide, beyond the initial meditation, can find a vacancy and get a seamless vacancy. Those happy people, looking for service from transcendence, are all heavy from all the troubles of the first Zen. They are broad and light, soft in body and mind, and have the ability to be happy, but they have never seen any troubles in their happiness.
(3) Three Zen, leaving happy and wonderful music. There are five branches: giving up, understanding correctly, thinking (all three are based on their fate), music and determination. People who give up, seeing their past troubles, are willing to leave their desires, from seeking, waiting and rejoicing, so they are called giving up. Live in all mindfulness by giving up the reason. People who know correctly, if they are not clear-headed, or think and do what they like before, will immediately know with wisdom in order to give up. Musicians, from the joy of leaving their hearts, have a quiet heart, so they can only be happy and light.
(4) Four Zen, giving up purity. There are four branches: giving up purity, wanting purity (both take each other), giving up acceptance, and deciding. Those who enter this fourth Zen will further give up the joy of the third Zen. At this point, all the search, waiting, happiness, joy, income and commitment are all broken; The heart is still, and all the commotion is far away, so it is pure.
Liberate yourself
The classification of "liberation" includes eight liberation, eight victory and ten times, which are briefly described as follows:
(1) Eight major extrusions: (1) The liberation of all colors from the colored view-people who are divorced from the color definition of the desire world are free to visualize (such as dead bodies) in the color of the desire world, while the color of the desire world focuses on thinking with light, thus achieving visualization. (2) I want to see the liberation of all external colors-I have left the color world, and the definition of colorless is not in the front. I don't think about the bright side (belonging to the color world), but I think about the external color (belonging to the desire world). (3) It is enough to get rid of obstacles in the fourth meditation, so as to make it completely complete. Net, that is, in the fourth Zen, leaving obstacles and giving up thinking, is complete and clean; Those who are liberated can get rid of the troubles caused by unclean changes; Body refers to the body; Testify because of wisdom and judgment; With sufficient shelter, the fourth meditation is basically completed and it is a refuge. (4) Free yourself from the boundless space-you have left your desire in the empty space, that is, you are visualizing in vain. If the sky is boundless, that is, after the mind has removed all colors and thoughts, it begins to meditate and settle down in the boundless void. (5) Free from knowledge without boundaries-I have been free from desire in that knowledge, that is, thinking and visualizing in this knowledge. Knowledge is boundless, this is the first time to give up thinking about the infinite void, that is, from the knowledge that can observe the infinite phase. (6) Nowhere to get rid of-you have to get rid of your desires everywhere, but you can think and visualize unconsciously. Those who have no fixed abode, when seeking progress from boundless knowledge, leave their knowledge to seek the rest, and have no income, which makes them feel at ease. Get rid of what you want-you get rid of your desires where you want to think, that is, you have to think everywhere. If you don't want to think, that is to say, when you make progress from scratch, you will think more than nothing. If you have all the following ideas, you will have no idea. Those who have no thoughts mean that they are completely destroyed without thoughts, then all thoughts are completely destroyed and comfortable. I will be destroyed (that is, I will be completely destroyed)-I will temporarily abandon my thoughts and let them become obstacles.
(2) Eight wins: (1) There is hue inside, but there is little color outside-through color, we can define impure phases in the world of desire, and divide the good, evil, victory and inferiority of assets, so that those phases can be concealed at will, freely rotated (changed) and must be true. (2) There are many colors indoors, and there are also many colors outdoors-a broad definition of outdoor colors (such as palaces and houses). ) Make it clean by color. (3) The inner colorless phase has many colors-colorless phase, that is, it is colorless if it wants to be outstanding. (4) There is no color inside, and there is little color outside. (5-8) The inner layer is colorless, and the outer layer is cyan, yellow, red and white. This eight wins, the first three out. Victory the next day, liberation from the first day; The second victory came from the second liberation; The last four victories came from the third liberation. Three to solve the problem, you will be comfortable if you win. This is based on liberation and victory. Also, eight victories depend on the liberation of the three colors, that is, victory is the cause and liberation is the result. If you want, you can feel comfortable in the previous liberation, and now you can overcome it in victory.
(3) Ten places: earth, water, fire, wind, blue, yellow, red, white, boundless emptiness and boundless knowledge. Thinking and thinking can achieve a vast territory, hence the name "Four Seas". On the eighth day of the eighth lunar month, only the third liberation flows out. In the second lunar month, there are two kinds of liberation: infinity and infinity. Mastering the first eight colors everywhere can attract sages to view magical powers, precisely because everything becomes magical powers and uses them. By practicing proficiency in all aspects, we can draw out various merits, such as ignorance, willingness, wisdom and understanding. Practice skillfully from the empty place, and everything can be emptied at will.
Cultivate practitioners from liberation-→ victory-→ everywhere, and then make progress. Because it is comfortable to visualize before thinking, it can be subdued the second time, and then it can be visualized at will. In any place, victory is the way to clear the road, so it is the third and therefore the second.
Equal shareholding
Sanskrit Samadhi, Chinese translation is equality, and equality means equality. This takes into account the "mind-environment" in all intentional positions, as well as the scattered positions, if you want to define them. There are ten kinds of Samadhi in the twelfth volume of yoga, which are explained as follows:
(1) Sansan Samadhi: that is, emptiness, no phase and no desire. There are two solutions:
1. Travel is different. Empty samadhi-away from sentient beings, fate and nurturers, taking counting as fun, etc. That is, leave "I" in the air and live in my heart. There are four kinds of emptiness: first, observing emptiness means observing emptiness, impermanence, no self and no land; Second, if the fruit is empty, it means that you are not tempted, don't give up, and have no troubles such as greed; Three empty spaces means that it is empty, no matter what I am, what I do slowly; Four outer space is five desires without love. The first observation of emptiness was made by learned saints, and the last three were made by uneducated saints. No desire, three places to rub-five sides, thinking impermanence, suffering, no desire, living in the heart. No phase, three rubbing places-in the five aggregates, thinking is silent, and the heart lives on one side. 2. In phase, that is, according to one truth, there are three meanings: empty samadhi-that is, there is nothing here. Therefore, it is empty. No desire, no demand, no desire, no demand. No phase, three places-look at this, far from all walks of life.
(2) Looking for Samadhi: 1. Looking for samadhi is to find the corresponding person in samadhi, just like the first meditation. 2. There is no samadhi, that is, samadhi only serves the corresponding people, such as the middle Zen (above the first Yi Chan, the integration of the second Zen). 3. There is no samadhi, that is, the two samadhi do not correspond to each other, and they abandon their hearts when looking for service. They only think about what they think, and the only taste is equal. It's like the second Zen to the top (don't think about it, don't think about it), but Samadhi didn't miss it.
(3) Big, Small and Infinite Samadhi: those who are small and small, or because they look at the color less, or because they have a narrow scope of thinking, such as small faith, small desires and narrow vision, all belong to the definition. Those who rank third are more famous for their colors, not endless; Or through faith, desire and thinking about the brightness of the sky and so on. , which is defined by color. Those who are infinite in three places are infinite in color and name; Or in the name of boundless faith and desire, such as four boundless hearts.
(4) Four boundless samadhi: that is, kindness, compassion, happiness and giving up the heart are four boundless edges. Four infinite minds, there are two explanations:
There are three kinds of feelings, neither bitter nor happy, and bittersweet. For those who are not bitter and unhappy, thinking is fun-good, for those who are suffering, thinking is bitter and sad, while those who are happy are born and happy-happy, that is, thinking is not firm, not dyed (from greed or anger)-give up. For all sentient beings, there is no resentment (from evil thoughts), that is, good and invincible (from the present), that is, sadness, no annoyance, that is, joy and harmlessness (from unforgivable).
Infinite meaning: it means that kindness is equal, that is, interest and happiness are needed. All infinity shows that the thinking of interest and happiness is the best, extremely skilled and can achieve infinite results. Most importantly, with a strong heart, we can be complete, universal, pure and focused, that is, four boundless hearts. The sage practices the four infinite minds in order to achieve the ultimate goal: those who practice good are extremely thorough (the third Zen); Remember the boundless space and practice compassion first; People who cultivate happiness will win the most by knowing the boundless land; He who has made up his mind will win if he has nothing (because nothing is the last place to miss).
(5) Joy, joy and abandon: people who like everything are the first and second Zen; Happy people are the third Zen; Giving up everything is the decision above the fourth Zen.
(6) Four kinds of practice: (1) In order to obtain the four present methods, enjoy the practice of life (that is, the four fundamental Zen). That is to get the four fundamental decisions, practice near the fundamental decisions (close to the fundamental decisions), or practice in order to make the fundamental decisions clean and complete. (2) to gain wisdom (eye). Set the eye with four basic principles, so set four basic principles, add lines before practice, and do infernal affairs (that is, constant confirmation). The yogi should be diligent and earnest before the light. When finished, you can see all its colors, that is, see it; It is wise to know the names and types of interesting things such as Heaven. (3) Students are born with wisdom. Before seeing the Tao, there are four minds or four minds that do not hinder understanding (four kinds of wisdom: dharma, righteousness, rhetoric and music), which are called wisdom respectively. That is to say, practicing all kinds of Tao in order to see Tao, or practicing four kinds of Zen in order to understand Tao, all belong to this. (4) In order to make all the missing repairs, this is to prove the Arhat and Luke repaired by King Kong Yu.
(7) Five sages, wisdom and samadhi
1. Self-wisdom: that is, legal wisdom, which eliminates troubles before seeing the Tao and makes it clean. This is holiness (goodness, no leakage), no dyeing, no adherence.
2. Butega Luo Zhi: That is, the kind of wisdom, which is the sacred determination obtained by seeing the Tao without phase.
3. Pure wisdom: that is, wisdom is the decision of a saint not to return what he has earned, which can damage and reduce troubles such as greed and cut off all doubts in the world of desire. This is not a worldly matter (I hate the pleasure), silence (I am troubled by silence), subtlety (I am troubled by my own troubles and do not produce love).
4. Fruit wisdom: that is, if you have no wisdom, whether you can get it back depends on what Arhat gets. This gives you a peaceful and secluded road (the road you get has no turning back), an interest (you have no place to find and wait), happiness now (you can find a way to live happily now), and familiarity in the future (you can lead to endless nirvana).
5. Getting in and out of wisdom: that is, wisdom, only when there is no degree, there is often no empathy. This is mindfulness coming in (if you fix it well, you can enter the phasing without forgetting) and mindfulness coming out (if you fix it well, you can leave the phasing without forgetting). These five kinds of decisions have one body and five lines, so the five elements are wise. Only good, do not leak, the name of the five sages.
(8) Samadhi, the five branches of Samadhi: that is, all the sages in the four holy Zen are single-minded and correct, which is called Samadhi. Fourth, it is basically established as four branches, and the fifth branch is established according to the method of careful observation and breaking the knot.
The five samadhi verses in Kumarajiva's translation of On Practice are different from the above: the joy of the first and second Zen is one, the joy of the third Zen is one, and the purity of the fourth Zen is three. According to the first three branches, we can generate light and observe two. You can't break the five yin until you look back clearly Observing the five yin and emptiness is called observing the phase. Can prove nirvana and say it is holy.
(9) Every karma has a Samadhi: it means that the first seven branches of the Eight Righteousnesses are karma and are the tools of the Samadhi.
For those who determine the cause, the leading times are right view, right thinking, right language, right career, right destiny and right samadhi. The second righteous, that is to say, must first know that there are real Arahant saints in the world, so as to get out of the abyss and seek correct views; Second, think about how to leave home. Since I became a monk, I have been studying corpses (orthodox language, proper occupation) and perfecting my life (orthodox life).
Those who set tools are upright, diligent and mindful, and can make tools for the right samadhi. According to right view, etc. 5, with the sense of smell, thinking and cultivation, truthfully understand the correct point of view, Jaken, and even the correct life and evil life. To get rid of Jaken and others. And to be perfect and correct, we are diligent. If you are diligent, you can break the rules, and you can focus on the rules (right view, etc. ) make it perfect, this is mindfulness. This mindfulness is also a part of samadhi.
This samadhi is named holy because it is good and leak-free. Give up Jaken and other orders, the amendment will be complete, so it is justified.
(10) Wang Ding: Cut off the top (where you don't want to think) and finally add the road of life. The slightest doubts have been observed and the seeds have been destroyed. In the end, infernal affairs happened, and the smallest sleep (the seed of trouble) has been destroyed. The two vajrayana are meant to be. This must be the highest respect in the middle, because it can confuse and gather good, and achieve the fruit of no learning. These are the most respected and successful learned saints who practice monasticism; It is also extremely powerful. No trouble in the world can destroy it, but it can destroy all troubles. Just like King Kong, it can destroy everything without being destroyed by it, hence the name King Kong.
by the time
Sanskrit samadhi, translated as equal, is the fruit of equal attraction (referring to getting a position, leaving a daze, dropping an elevator, etc. , and equality can attract merit), hence the name equality. This generic term refers to all fixed positions in all intentional or unintentional positioning, including five positions, eight wins, ten times, four colorless positions (these three positions have been mentioned above) and two centerless positions (without thinking or ending). It is emphasized here that the five are equal now, and the two are uncertain.
(1) Seeing five things now, etc.: It means that saints who see the Tao and above practice five kinds of behaviors, and can see what they see clearly, so they are named seeing things now, etc. There are two ways for saints to control the troubles caused by monasticism: first, impurity. In order to prevent greed, we should observe all kinds of impurities in the inner body, that is, hair, claws, teeth, even tears, sweat, feces and urine, which are all impurities in the inner body. The second impure view is also based on the four thoughts of living, observing the bruises and pus of the external body (that is, after death). , that is, the outer body is filthy. Or watching colorful paintings, wood, stone, mud and other bone locks (the phase of bones and people), so that greed can not afford the present, this is the second view.
Saints are also the healing in trouble, which is also divided into two parts: or observing life and body, which is called roughly observing the edge of the line (that is, the twelve origins), and this is the third eye. Or observe the birth and death of the mind at this moment, the development and transformation are continuous, that is to say, there are greed, greed and other kinds of minds, each of which is different and changes rapidly. That is, the fourth vision is equal.
If we observe the situation of saints living in the world from the depths of suffering, this is the fifth present sight. On the second day of the second year, I observed the fruit people, living in this world and other worlds (bound by man and heaven); If you don't return the fruit to others, you will only live in another life (the upper bound is colored and colorless); Arhat has nowhere to live.
(2) Waiting without thinking: that is, not thinking, means that you have left your desire (the third Zen) and have not left your desire (the fourth Zen). Always leave your mind first, and all thoughts are gone. The yogi regards "thinking" as a disease, a carbuncle and an arrow, enters the fourth stage of meditation, practices thinking later and lives behind various thoughts, which only shows that "no thinking" is silent and subtle. Live with your heart where you have no thoughts. If you leave all the places gradually, your heart will die. In this life, you can enter and leave; If you live without thinking about heaven, you can't get out. Think and die, think and die in heaven.
(3) Extinction equals equality: that is, extinction is certain, that is, where there is no desire, thinking first, and all thoughts are extinguished.
If saints have left everything they want, or settled in places where they don't want to think, then they will be tired of this rough thinking and lack of thinking, and will only think in detail, and there will be no change in the situation. They will think elsewhere first, strive for progress in their hearts, seek the edge of the upper position, but get nothing; Because there is no income, if you don't turn, your heart will be silent. Or according to extinction, the mind will decide: that is, according to the absence of the heart (regardless of all aspects), accordingly, the heart will be silent because of extinction.
There are three kinds of lines in and out: physical line (interest in and out), speech line (looking for and waiting) and intention line (receiving and thinking). In the first Yi Chan, there was a search for service, but in the second Zen, there was no search for service, and the name was ruined. The fourth Zen has no interest, and its name is destroyed; Even if you don't want to think about it, you will try to make progress, but you will get nothing. Because if you don't think about it, your name will be destroyed.
When it goes out, touch three kinds of touches. Touch is the cause, when out, when into the life, said there are three kinds of touch. These three kinds of contact are born in three realms: from having a certain edge as the realm, from being famous as the realm; In this case, there is no self to disturb its heart slowly, so it is intangible. By thinking only about things, the name follows the environment; In this realm, there is no greed, anger or delusion, so there is no touch. By no phase boundary, the name is destroyed; In this case, I don't want anything, so I say touch or not.
Among the above four kinds of meditation, four kinds of meditation are the most basic and the basis of the other three kinds of meditation. Other meditations are based on it (such as the Eight Solutions, etc.). ), or they are easy to succeed (such as three or three meditation places, four infinite meditation places, etc.). ). Therefore, the yogi should take the Four Meditations as the initial lesson and practice next time.
Four meditations
Buddhist language. Four kinds of meditation from Yi Chan Day to the fourth Zen Day in the color world. When people practice meditation in the realm of desire, they suddenly feel that their body and mind are condensed, full of pores, and their breath slowly comes in and out, which is the first meditation; But in this meditation, there is still a stage of awareness, and more importantly, the determination to focus on the heart, awareness is extinguished, this is the joy of meditation, this is for the second meditation; However, with the surge of joy, concentration is not strong. Because of the observation from the heart, I am grateful for joy, so silence and joy are from the heart. This is three Zen days; However, happiness will disturb the heart, but it is still not completely clean, and it is more successful. It is natural that the Four Meditations stop all delusions and strengthen mindfulness. See "Four Zen Days".
Meditation. Meditation.
Meditation is a common sitting posture in Buddhist meditation, so it is also called "meditation". Sitting with two more feet is also called "perfection" The Tathagata Frodo sits for this, which is also called "Tathagata sitting". Like meditation, there are two kinds of sitting: one is auspicious sitting, the other is evil sitting, and the sitting method is different.
Tang Lin's book "The Five Classics" says: "There are about two kinds of sitting, one is auspicious sitting, and the other is magic sitting. In several [full] sittings, first put your right toe on your left leg, and then put your left toe on your right leg. This is called sitting on the right (suspected left word), and the hand is also on the left. This is called magic sitting. Many Zen Buddhism advocates this kind of meditation. If you follow the Ming-Zang Yoga method, you will preach good luck and sometimes use it to raise and lower demons. In an auspicious sitting position, first put your left toe on your right thigh, and then put your right toe on your left thigh, so that your palms face each other and lean on the second thigh. Put your hands on the left and right, too. It's called auspicious sitting. Tathagata is under the bodhi tree. When he is awake, he sits in Anji Xiang with a demon seal on his hand. So Tathagata has been sitting here. " According to the statues of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in India today, almost all of them are auspicious sittings, and as mentioned above, if the Tathagata is under the bodhi tree, it is not a phantom sitting, but still an auspicious sitting. It is the most stable sitting method and the way for Buddhists to learn, so this sitting method is the most important sitting method. There is a cloud in Volume 7 of Great Wisdom: "Q:' Why is the Buddha so seated in Dharma? Just tie a knot and sit up and down. "Answer:' In all sitting postures, sitting cross-legged is the most stable and tireless. This is the meditation method. Clap your hands and clap your feet. It is also the most stable of all four types of documents. This is Zen meditation. When the devil sees it, he is worried. "In this way," Aphida Moda Piposha "(Volume 39) is particularly clear." Q:' All dignity must be cultivated. Why do you say squat?' A:' This is why sages always show their dignity, which means that all Buddhist disciples who pass through Kejiasha will live in this prestige and settle down in the future. If they are dignified and obedient again, they say that if they live fast, they will fall asleep when they lie down, and they will only stumble and sit without making mistakes. "....." Sit down, meaning a lot, to sum up, probably nothing more than' five karma'. "On the Yogi" Volume 30 says: "The rope-bed mats promised by the Buddhas sit in a daze and even talk widely. There are five reasons why you can't sit still One is to take care of the body, fast and light. If you stand on the right side, you will be the most successful. Second, this banquet can last for a long time. If the dignity is not extremely high, the body speed is tired. Third, it is illegal to take this banquet. If so, there is no reason.
