Among Jin Yong's novels, I like Guo Jing best. Who do you like best?

I like Xiao Feng best. I think he is the embodiment of Jin Yong's Buddhist spirit.

A good interpretation of the word |||.

With thick eyebrows, high nose and wide mouth, the face of this Chinese character is quite weather-beaten. Looking around, it is very imposing, full of heroic spirit, heroic spirit, and heroic spirit. I am not angry and arrogant between my eyes, majestic, generous, easy-going and friendly, strong-willed, smart and brave, courageous and aggressive, rough and refined, decisive and impulsive.

A generous and sad northern man

Morally, Xiao Feng is a hero model in the traditional thought of China people. There are five points that meet the standard of a hero, 1. High technology. This is a prerequisite for China people to be heroes. 2. Good drinker. Although it is absurd or even naive, China has always been a necessary ability for a hero, which is a good thing. From Lian Po in the pre-Qin Dynasty to Xiang Yu, Guan Yu, the Three Heroes of the Wind and the Dust, Liangshan Heroes and so on. It can be said that in China, people's capacity for alcohol and gas can be directly equated. 3. attach importance to feelings and righteousness and commitment. This is necessary, and even at some point it is excusable to do something against justice for the sake of affection and commitment. 4. Don't be close to women. The description of a hero in traditional literature is often like this: "Say so-and-so, he is always eager to play with guns and sticks and works hard all day, but he doesn't care much about women (beautiful women)." Not being close to women does not mean that you can't get married and have no confidante, but you are loyal and don't promiscuous. This phenomenon is closely related to China's sexual concept. This phenomenon has even developed to the extreme, and there have been phenomena such as "the hero kills his wife" and "the hero kills his wife". In Water Margin, Song Jiang killed his wife, Song Wu killed his wife, Shi Xiu killed his wife, and Lu Junyi killed his wife. And Xiao Feng also wanted to kill his sister-in-law (Ma Dayuan's wife), and finally gave up because he was not full of evil. 5. Not afraid of life and death. A hero must never be afraid of death, even if he knows he will die. In fact, in the tradition of China, there is another kind of person between heroes, that is, "Heroes". Heroes and heroes have a fundamental dividing point, "righteousness". Heroes should stand on the side of justice, and what they do is to conform to justice. This is the legend of Xiao Feng. Heroes and heroes can be said to have no clear dividing line, and they are all related to people's hearts. When we evaluate Guo Jing, we often say that he is a hero. After careful analysis, some people will say that he is a national hero. Xiao Feng commented on heroes, tragic heroes of ancient Greece. By analyzing the actions of these two roles, we can sum up the differences between them in one sentence. Guo Jing, have something to do; Xiao Feng, you know you can't do this. Qiao Feng is a tragic hero in Shakespeare's style. Anyone who loves to read Shakespeare's tragedies will notice how the heroines such as King Lear and McCobove are in full swing when they appear, and how tragic they are at the end, destroyed by fate and their own personality defects. Of course, it is wrong to put Shakespeare's model on Jin Yong's head. Shakespeare's tragedy does not contain this extremely simplified analysis. Borrow a little comparison, just to add interest. For example, not only Shakespeare's famous plays, but also the famous opera Othello. Othello is a great Moor. At the beginning, the young lady of Venice politician, Destina, eloped with him. Her father, relatives and friends were very excited, and they followed him. Othello appeared calmly, and in a few words calmed the crowd and eliminated a conflict. "Put your sword back in its sheath," Othello famously said. "Don't let the dew erode." When Qiao Feng appeared, he faced a beggar rebellion. Of course, the rebellion in Xinglin written by Jin Yong is far more dangerous than the first scene of Othello. Qiao Feng's furious martial arts, prestige and wisdom have also been fully displayed in dealing with the rebellion, but the two protagonists are the same type of characters, as always attractive and as always heroic, that's for sure. Put down the rebellion, lost the position of king, and went alone to find out the truth. Othello calmed the public anger and won the beauty return. When they lost one thing and got another, they all planted the bane of their future reputation. At last Othello was deceived and killed Desdemona herself. He realized that he had made a big mistake and finally committed suicide in public. Before he died, he said in a lonely voice, "Where else can Othello go?" Qiao Feng committed suicide in front of Yanmenguan, because the world was too big to get in. From beginning to end, Othello and Qiao Feng were driven by fate. According to western classical drama theory, only heroes deserve tragic fate, and tragic fate just emphasizes Qiao Feng's heroic position. Qiao Feng and Guo Jing are together, majestic and upright, depending on their martial arts route. Chen Jialuo's martial arts is too clever, what a sword and shield spider rope, what a hundred flowers wrong fist; Yuan Chengzhi's martial arts are orthodox, but his unique skill is the Legend of the Golden Snake with strong evil spirits, and Zhang Wuji's Jiuyang Zhen Jing is positive, but occasionally, Gan Kun's great skill is bound to be "heresy". Guo Jing's Qiao Feng, based on the ingenious but powerful "eighteen palms of the dragon", is powerful and invincible, just in line with their character. I have to admire Master Jin Yong's painstaking efforts in character design. Qiao Feng's martial arts came from Shaolin and Beggars' Sect, but Jin Yong only touched on it slightly, and even described his moves, often without mentioning their names. In short, his gestures are unhappy and powerful, which is beyond the reach of an artist. Jin Yong said that he deliberately used this technique to write Qiao Feng, which made him different from other protagonists. Everyone has a history of learning. Qiao Feng's martial arts seems to be innate, and any ordinary martial arts can exert amazing power as long as it reaches Qiao Feng. This, of course, increases the heroic color of Qiao Feng's myth. In Greek mythology, The Legend of Heroes is second only to The Legend of the Gods. Heroes like Hercules are almost gods. In western words, Qiao Feng has charm and terrible spirit. Jin Yong deliberately chose the occasion of "rebellion" to show the authority of Qiao Feng's leaders, because it is proof that a person can exert such strength and convince people at such a moment. Looking back at other Jin Yong heroes, Guo Jing's leading position did not appear until the last chapters of The Condor Heroes, and the condor was only side-by-side. Wulin champions Chen Jialuo, Yuan Chengzhi and Zhang Wuji are not necessarily strong. Only Feng is a well-deserved leader. Ironically, the moment when his leadership ability was brought into full play was also the last time he brought it into play. What kind of person is Qiao Feng? After leaving the Beggars' Sect, his personal feelings gradually emerged. Jin Yong wrote that Qiao Feng returned to his former residence to visit his adoptive parents (he thought they were his biological parents) and went to visit his master in Shaolin Temple. On the one hand, he described Qiao Feng's feelings for them. On the other hand, with the development of the story, Qiao Feng became more and more involved in this conspiracy, and his grievances became more and more difficult to wash away. Jin Yong made full use of Qiao Feng's adversity to show his greatness. He has deep feelings, but he is not controlled by them. He has clear principles, but he doesn't stick to details; He is brave and careful; He is very kind, but he doesn't have to struggle or reverse the weight. What suits me best is that Jin Yong described Qiao Feng as a good man, not a fool. He is affectionate and extremely rational. "A gentleman can bully his side", but in personality, Qiao Feng has no weakness to attack. Jin Yong corrected the weakness of the previous Qiao Feng hero; The advantages of previous heroes were reinforced by Jin Yong on Qiao Feng. Qiao Feng has no weakness, but fate played a big joke on him. Facts have proved that the ignorant, impulsive, weak, malicious and hostile masses are right, but Qiao Feng is wrong. He is really a Khitan, not a Han Chinese. More cruelly, according to the principle he believed in, those who wronged him for killing a series of martial arts heroes, such as adoptive father, adoptive mother and mentor, actually did not wronged him. It turns out that this is indeed his sin, because all these people were killed by his father. Qiao Feng used his strong will, superhuman mind and martial arts to seek the truth and clear the grievances, but it turned out that the original sinner was himself. This is the pattern of the ancient Greek tragedy King Oedipus. After Oedipus married Jaggers, Queen of Athens, it didn't rain in Athens for three years. The king asked Apollo for instructions. Apollo said that someone married his mother and caused a curse. The king tried to find the culprit, and finally found it was himself. It turned out that when Queen Jaggers was pregnant, she dreamed that the torch was pregnant. The priest interpreted the dream and said that this son would marry his mother in the future, which would bring trouble to the country. The queen was afraid, so after giving birth to the child, she abandoned her son in the wilderness, but was pitied by the shepherd and raised as an adult, that is, Oedipus. The truth came out that Oedipus could not stay in Athens. He was blind, self-exiled, wandering all his life, being chased by fate and angry gods forever. Jin Yong loves western literature, and Qiao Feng's tragedy undoubtedly draws on this model. The basic spirit of this tragic model is to describe the struggle between man and fate. Although people can't defeat fate after all, the dignity of human nature is affirmed in the process of struggle. Fate arranged for Qiao Feng to be a Khitan, arranged for his parents to be killed by Wulin people in the Central Plains, and arranged for him to be raised as a hero by the Central Plains people. Then fate stirred up trouble with a woman's unprovoked resentment, and put Qiao Feng on the road of seeking the truth, that is to say, put him on the road of extinction. However, this tragedy is not the result of pure fate, but the result of fate, Qiao Feng's personality and the moral principles he believed in. Qiao Feng's intelligence is a hundred times better than Guo Jing's, but his moral standards are exactly the same as Guo Jing's, which is the so-called "orthodoxy": loyalty to the nation, kindness to the weak and revenge for relatives. Guo Jing is a Han Chinese, and there is no doubt that he has carried out this practice. However, Qiao Feng suddenly found himself a Khitan, and his life-long value orientation would be suddenly reversed, leading to a serious conflict between feelings and rational principles. The consequence of Qiao Feng's revenge is that he killed the person he loved the most, which can be said to be the spread of fate, but he violated his loyalty to Liao country and nation, but he knew it would be violated. It can be said that he must die, because he can neither suppress his feelings nor break through the orthodox moral norms he takes for granted. If Qiao Feng can break through the orthodox norms, he is not a tragic hero, but a wise man. On the surface, Qiao Feng's tragedy was caused by his insistence on revenge. If he didn't insist on revenge first, he would go to eat grass with Aru, so Aru wouldn't kill him, and Qiao Feng wouldn't be unhappy and commit suicide. But is it possible to think deeper? Will he really be happy if he immediately gives up revenge and leads a dull life outside the customs? Ah Zhu is naturally satisfied, but will he be satisfied? Or will he regret not avenge himself when he sees cattle and sheep in trouble outside the customs? At the end of the shooting, Guo Jing and Huang Rong discussed how to help Xiangyang resist the enemy. Huang Rong said, if there are many soldiers and horses, you can get away in a bloody BMW at the last minute. Guo Jing immediately reprimanded her, saying that people should be loyal to their country and not waste their parents' education. Huang Rong sighed: "I knew this day was inevitable, so stop here, you live and die!" Don't Zhu understand? Of course she understands. Of course, Guo Jing said "patriotism", and Qiao Feng said "revenge", patriotism and revenge. One is public and the other is private, which is a thousand miles away, but the focus of the problem is not revenge or patriotism, but accession to the WTO and birth. In layman's terms, it is the enterprising spirit of men. Women often think that men should be satisfied with her, but this is just wishful thinking. At the same time, she also forgot that she admired him and went to irresistible Xiao Feng because of the charm brought by her devotion to her career. Career is the lifeblood of a person, because through career, he has contact with society. Without a career, he is the loneliest person. Fate urged Qiao Feng to embark on the road of destruction, but it happened that he got a chance to be saved. It turned out to be Zhu, just a beautiful and naughty girl. She met Qiao Feng, which was a complete accident. Joe air-dried took great risks to save her, but he was excited with indignation, not moved by the little girl. But he saved Ah Zhu, but he made Ah Zhu grateful and admired his heroism. He went to Wan Li without hesitation and waited for him at Yanmenguan, so Qiao Feng was rebelling. Since then, Qiao Feng has never treated Ah Zhu as a little girl. The world betrayed Qiao Feng, and Arjun gave him a new world, that is, the life of two people hunting and grazing outside the customs. If Qiao Feng can accept it, he can be saved. Or, if this moment stops, and God allows Qiao Feng to foresee the future tragedy, he will understand that this is his only chance of redemption, but after all, this moment has not stopped. Qiao Feng only knows that if he can't untie the knot of "revenge", he won't be able to live a peaceful life from now on. So, this moment passed, his opportunity ended, and happiness flew away with him. Dragon Eight Branches is a novel with a strong Buddhist flavor. Probably Jin Yong intends to advocate Buddhist compassion. If Qiao Feng's hatred is dissolved, he still has a chance to get happiness. Unfortunately, Master Guang Zhi remonstrated with his death, and Xiao Yuanshan and Murong Bo converted to Buddhism together. But at that time, Qiao Feng could not accept Guang Zhi's protest. This is not so much an opportunity as a more ruthless play of fate. If we overemphasize Qiao Feng's hatred, then the story of Qiao Feng and Arjun is not a tragedy that makes all lovers cry at the same time, but a cautionary story. But Qiao Feng's revenge is not a sudden primitive bloodthirsty, and revenge is a typical part of a hero. The hero's nature makes Qiao Feng Qi Feng stand out: it shines brilliantly, but it also brings his own destruction. The love between Qiao Feng and Arjun is the most touching love in Jin Yong's novels. Falling in love with Qiao Feng turned Arjun into a mature and respectable woman, while Qiao Feng's deep affection for the Arqionghai school and the sadness of losing her fascinated him even more. Qiao Feng brought Guo Jing's traditional hero into full play, and at the same time announced the typical ending of this hero. The limitation of Qiao Feng, that is, this typical limitation, is that he can't be divorced from the values of secular society. In Eight Dragons, Jin Yong has raised some questions: Is the distinction between Hu and Han really the distinction between good and evil, good and evil, and friends and enemies? Han people must stand on the side of Han people. Is it true that the Khitans are loyal to the Khitans? Jin Yong didn't ask very seriously, and the answer in Eight Dragons is quite simple and clear: racial disputes and personal grievances should be solved in the spirit of fraternity. Buddhists regard everything as illusory or unacceptable to ordinary people, but the spirit of kindness, forgiveness and peace-loving is much easier to accept.
